- Driving satisfaction knows no gender.
Studies have shown that female drivers get just as much satisfaction driving their cars as males do.

- Satisfaction doesn't depend on age.
Being happy with driving doesn't depend on how old you are. Driving satisfaction does increase with driving skill but this isn't necessarily related to age or experience as younger drivers can accelerate their skill development by taking formal driver training courses or by making a specific point of gathering as much driving skill knowledge as possible.

-Car type or quality doesn't beget driving satisfaction.
Just because a driver has the latest, fastest Yamhosuka sportscar doesn't mean that he will be a more satisfied driver. In fact, owning the latest machinery can be a negative for the driver who discovers that he doesn't have the driving skills required to comfortably handle it.

On the other hand, someone who possesses a high level of driving skills can achieve a very high level of driving satisfaction in an older car or one possessing lower performance capabilities.

Ultimately, driving satisfaction comes down to the factor that also largely influences skill level - focus.

The driver who focuses on all aspects of his driving becomes immersed in it and, in doing so, gains immense satisfaction from it. That focus keeps him from dwelling uselessly on mistakes - except to learn from them - and enables him also to focus on neutralising the actions of other motorists around him, rather than wasting time and attention span seething about past incidents.

Focus is the answer. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well.
